This policy explains which personal data we process when you use our website, contact us or book a call. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, on the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Visiting the website
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes the technical data needed to display the website and keep it secure: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. This data is used to provide the website, protect it against abuse and fix errors. We do not use it to identify you.
- Cookies: the website sets none.
- Analytics and advertising: no such tools are used.
- Fonts: they are hosted on our website; no data is sent to a font provider.
Contact form and e-mails
The contact form prepares a message in your own e-mail program: the data is not stored on our website. When you write to us, we receive the data you send us (name, company, contact details, content of the message) and use it to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation or carry out an assignment.
Booking a call
The buttons for booking a call lead to Microsoft Bookings, Microsoft's appointment booking service. The data you enter there (name, e-mail, phone, reason for the appointment) is processed by Microsoft on our behalf in order to arrange the call. Microsoft's terms also apply to this service.
Training
For training courses, pre-registration is by e-mail or, for laser training, via our website formation-securite-laser.ch, which has its own data protection information. We use this data to organise the training and to issue the agreement, the invoice and the certificates of attendance.
External links
The website contains links to other websites, for example LinkedIn, Google Maps or official texts. They are not embedded in our pages: no data is sent to these websites until you click the link. After that, their own privacy rules apply.
Service providers and disclosure abroad
We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Website hosting: Cloudflare, Inc., United States, with a worldwide server network.
- Appointment booking and e-mail: Microsoft.
These providers may process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States. In that case, the disclosure is based on an adequacy decision of the Federal Council, for example for companies certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, or on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention period
We keep data for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry or carry out an assignment, and then for the period required by legal retention obligations, in particular accounting obligations, which may be up to ten years.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to processing or request that your data be handed over to you, within the limits set by law. Write to us at info@safeli.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if the GDPR applies, the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add a service to our website. The version published on this page is authoritative.
