What is CE marking?
The CE marking is the symbol that indicates that a product complies with European directives. In addition to the marking that must be affixed to the product, it must also be accompanied by its declaration of conformity.
Is CE marking compulsory in Switzerland?
No, in Switzerland it is not compulsory to affix the CE mark to a product, but most manufacturers do so because they also sell the product in Europe.
